His experience has included the direction and coordination of excavations such as Ponferrada, Arévalo and Capilla castles, and Almadén Mine. He also actively participates in research projects about Alarcos Castle and Calatrava La Vieja Medieval City. That specialization combines with the skills and interest in studying Islamic and Christian ceramic materials from Iberian Peninsula.
