He received a master degree in ancient history and a specialization in archaeology about ager Lunensis topography; he took his PhDin ancient history with a plan about italic terra sigillata productive patterns, ‘Cultore della Materia’ in Ancient Topography. He is responsible of archaeological yard of S. Gaetano di Vada (LI), Montebono (Guardistallo, PI) and Luni (Ortonovo, SP). He attended many excavation campaigns in coastal northern Etruria sites and survey in ager Firmanus. He has been charged of many collaboration contracts with University of Pisa for plans dealing with coastal northern Etruria landscape. He took part in international plan for researches on instrumentum domesticum in the Roman Pannonia (italic terra sigillata) in sphere of the scientific cooperation agreement CNR/NTA. He is author of studies and publications dealing with coastal northern Etruria landscape, italic terra sigillata production and relationships between pottery producers and central power élites.
