Lecturer in American History at the University of Barcelona and coordinator of the Master on Latin American Studies. Her research activity is focused on the study of the Lower Central American Etnohistory, particularly on the development of the native societies at the Spanish contact, the Conquest and the beginning of the Colonial times (XV-XVI centuries). Other research interests are the cultural and historical heritage of Central America.
