Elda Chericoni is a Laboratory Technician at the Photographic Laboratory of the Dpt. Of Civiltà e Forme del Sapere at the University of Pisa where she worked since 1991. She obtained a degree in Letters in 1982 and a further degree in Medieval and Modern History of Art in 1985 from the University of Pisa. She has been responsible for the conservation and cataloguing of film and glass plates produced for the archive since the 1950’s. She works on the acquisition of photographs (including both analogue and digital images) and works alongside researchers from foundations, museums and other collections.
